Blacknewave

It's about two o'clock in the morning and our thoughts are being digested by the daily memories. We reminisce and we sit on the couch, too relaxed and too tired to get up and brush our teeth. But we still get up, we brush them teeth and we sink into the bed. And our bones relax. They feel the soft touch of our blanket, they feel good, our muscles take a deep breath with our lungs, and we are ready to be welcomed by sleep.

That's an abstract description of this album. But this album is abstract. Well, not abstract in a three million bleeping noises at the same time, a drum that never repeats itself, and a flow that is so off beat, that it gives the track a second rhythm. This album was done by a musician, although his final product is very much hip hop, or glam hop or 'blacknewave', that has nothing to do with the 80's music craze New Wave. Bizarro is the mind behind these tracks. He produced them, apart form the additional Eligh, Shu and Nebulus contribution. And he rhymed on them, to add another thoughtful, relaxed, melancholy record release to the Living Legends galaxy.

There's "I Wont Pretend", where Bizarro does a little Sade, to go into one of those late night, city light, echo without repetition vibes, a track that has like a soft filter, making it tender before it reaches our ears. There's "Marge vs. Bizarro", where the Simpsons mom gets sampled for this short interlude. There's "Wondrin", a track that relieves itself of any expected format. There's the possibly dopest track on here "Triple Stage", the remix, feat. Shu, who kicks the chorus in Japanese (as much as I can tell). This is another track that was able to capture sunshine in a music form.

Then there's the tale of tapes, the "My Collection Of Tapes", that everybody will be able to relate to. This is the sitting in front of the radio, at two o'clock in the morning and taping what this apparatus can catch from the airwaves. "3rd Eye Flies (Freestyle)" is a rather early 90's resembling track, that has Bizarro represent and manifest in a proud b-boy stance. PSC of the Mystik Journeymen shows up on "Keep It Quiet", Grouch on "What's Next??", Eligh on "Mothernature".

While we duck one meteorite, we enjoy to have our eyes wander through the infinity that is space. Space, the word itself reflects the room, the possibility one has in this three dimensional area. And without gravity, the brain and mind are not the only thing that can wander off, that can bounce off planets, bounce off shooting stars and bounce of the darkness, illuminated by the sun behind us, and hidden by the shadow of the galaxy.
